Common Issues

Electric Mixer Won’t Start

Cause: Electrical Failure, Faulty Switch, or Overheated Motor.

Fix: Check the Power Cable and Outlet and Breaker. Is the Extension Cord sitting in water? - Reset the Overload Protection switch or GFI at the outlet.

Test or Replace the On/Off Switch if needed.

Drum Won’t Rotate

Cause: Broken Belt, Damaged Gears, or Hardened Cement preventing movement?

Fix: Adjust Belt - Replace if it can no longer be Adjusted or is Cracked, Rotted or Worn Out. 

Check the Gears for Wear and Clean out any Cement Buildup on moving Parts or inside the Drum.

Excessive Noise

Cause: Loose Bolts, Worn-Out Bearings, or Obstructions?

Fix: Tighten all fasteners and check for internal debris. Grease Gears and Fill all Oil and Fluids.

Replace Bearings if they appear Worn or Corroded.

Poor Mixing Quality

Cause: Worn Paddles or Damaged Paddles.

Fix: Inspect and replace Mixing Paddles if needed.

Check Also: Mixing Ratios and allow for proper Mixing Time.
