Patching is done to repair Surface Damage, Cracks and Holes in Concrete and Masonry to restore strength and to prevent water intrusion.
Begin by cleaning the damaged area, removing loose debris and deteriorated material with a chisel and wire brush. Slightly dampen the surface to help the patch adhere better. Mix the patching material according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Apply the mixture using a trowel, pressing it firmly into the damaged section. Smooth and shape the surface to match the surrounding area. Allow the patch to cure properly to ensure a lasting repair.
Proper patching extends the life of concrete and masonry structures, helps prevent further damage, and maintains both safety and visual appeal.
