Precast concrete pipes are Factory-Made Large Pipes used to transport fluids such as stormwater, sewage, or industrial discharge. They are consistent in quality, strength, and durability.

They are delivered and installed at the project location.

One of their most common applications is in underground drainage systems. These pipes are widely used for stormwater management, carrying rainwater runoff beneath roads and highways. They also serve as sanitary sewers, transporting wastewater to treatment plants, and as culverts that allow water to pass under roads, railways, and embankments. 

Precast Pipes are designed to withstand significant vertical and horizontal loads when buried underground. Their strength is achieved through reinforced concrete, which contains steel rebar or mesh to provide tensile strength. The round shape and substantial wall thickness of the pipes help them distribute earth and traffic loads effectively. There are different standards for particular uses.

They come in a wide range of sizes. Diameters can start from around 300 mm (12 inches) and go up to more than 3 meters (10 feet), with standard lengths typically between 2 to 3 meters. The manufacturing process begins with the preparation of steel reinforcement cages. Concrete is then poured into molds. For installation, joints are usually designed with tongue-and-groove or rubber gasket systems to ensure watertight connections.
