There are two main approaches to Concrete Crushing: Mobile Units and Stationary Plant Equipment. Mobile Crushers are machines mounted on tracks or wheels, designed for use directly at the Demolition or Construction site. Their greatest advantage lies in their mobility and flexibility.

In contrast, Crushing Plants are permanent installations typically located at a Recycling Facility or Aggregate Yard. These Setups offer greater crushing capacity, particularly for large-scale, high-volume projects. They often include advanced screening systems, and automated material handling.

Generally, in the primary stage of crushing, the concrete is placed into a jaw or impact crusher. This initial crushing reduces the size significantly. Following that, secondary crushing might be necessary using cone crushers, impact crushers, or hammer mills to achieve finer, more uniform material. Screening follows, which sorts the crushed material by size, with oversized pieces redirected back into the crusher.
